OMB Peezy has become an significant figure in the hip-hop world. OMB Peezy is under the management of 300 Entertainment. In 2017, the rapper released tracks like When I Was Down, Porch and other hits. Loyalty is Love came out within the same calendar year as his first collection. He had already become popular with the release of Lay Down, a single featuring a music video. OMB Peezy started rapping as 12 years old at 12. and was awed by Southern Rap influencers, such as Kevin Gates Soulja Slim Masta P. His music made waves when the first single he released was Lay Down.
